Founded by JN Radhakrishna Rao Jagdale in 1948, Amrut Distilleries is a pioneer of Indian single malt whisky. Under the leadership of the Jagdale family, Amrut made history by launching India's first single malt in Glasgow in 2004, forever changing global perceptions of Indian spirits.
Amrut Fusion is distilled at the Bangalore-based distillery using a unique recipe of 25% peated Scottish barley and 75% unpeated Indian barley. The rapid maturation under India's tropical climate accelerates wood interaction, yielding the depth of a much older spirit in just a few years.
