The Captain Morgan Rum Company was officially established in 1944 by Seagram when they purchased the Long Pond Distillery in Jamaica. Today, the brand is owned by Diageo and produced with a focus on creating highly mixable, approachable rums that celebrate adventure and camaraderie.
This rum is inspired by the legendary exploits of Sir Henry Morgan, a 17th-century Welsh buccaneer who became the Lieutenant Governor of Jamaica. It is expertly distilled five times from choice sugarcane molasses to achieve its signature clean and smooth profile.
