Bumbu Rum Co. was created to revive the historic, artisanal recipes of 16th and 17th-century West Indian sailors who blended native Caribbean fruits and spices into their rums. Based in Barbados, the brand has achieved global acclaim for its distinctively heavy glass bottle adorned with a tarnished metal 'X'.
Bumbu is crafted at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893, which has been continuously operating for more than a century. The rum is distilled using continuous column stills and native yeast, then aged in select white oak bourbon casks.
