Founded in 1975, 1800 Tequila was named to commemorate the historic year when tequila was first successfully aged in oak casks. Owned by the Beckmann family, descendants of Don Jose Antonio de Cuervo, the brand remains one of the world's most recognizable premium spirits producers.
Constructed around historic production standards, this tequila is distilled at the Nom 1122 distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It is aged for at least six months in a combination of charred American and French oak barrels to build its signature golden color.
