Founded in 1775 in Guanajuato, Hacienda Corralejo was one of the first estate-established distilleries in Mexico. The brand is deeply intertwined with Mexican history, as the estate was the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a founding father of Mexican Independence.
Crafted at the historic Hacienda Corralejo, this tequila is unique for its use of the French Charentais alembic distillation method. The spirit is aged for four months in a combination of French, American, and white oak barrels.
