Founded in 2016 in the picturesque De Wet Valley by brothers Charles and Glenn Bryant alongside friend Luigi Marucchi, Six Dogs began in an old dog kennel that housed their six beloved dogs. The distillery is celebrated for its craft-forward ethos, using locally forged copper stills and botanicals grown directly on their South African estate.
Deep in the semi-desert Karoo region of South Africa, Six Dogs Distillery carefully distills this gin before letting it steep in freshly harvested Pinotage wine grapes. This custom infusion process extracts the grape skins' deep color and complex tannins without utilizing any artificial additives.
