The Botanist was created by Master Distiller Jim McEwan at Bruichladdich in 2010. Bruichladdich, founded in 1881 on the Isle of Islay, is celebrated for its commitment to terroir and traditional distillation methods.
The Botanist is distilled at the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay using a unique, low-pressure Lomond still. It is infused with 22 hand-foraged local botanicals alongside nine classic gin botanicals.
