The Christian Brothers brand was originally established in 1882 by the members of the De La Salle Christian Brothers order in Martinez, California, who began making sacramental wine. They expanded into commercial brandy production in 1940, establishing a legacy as one of America's most famous and historic brandy makers.
This brandy is produced using the traditional copper pot still distillation method, similar to the process used for fine Cognac. It is then aged for a minimum of two years in hand-selected white oak barrels to develop its signature smoothness.
