Founded in 1866 by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, this historic house holds the distinction of being the first registered distillery in the United States. Today, the legendary craft continues under Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, utilizing the same limestone spring water source first used by Jack himself.
This exceptional whiskey is charcoal-mellowed drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before maturation. It is aged in specially selected, grooved American oak barrels that impart deep color, rich oak character, and heavy spice notes.
