The Yonezawa family has been distilling spirits since 1917, starting with sake and shochu in Hyogo. In celebration of 100 years of family spirit production, Master Blender Kimio Yonezawa founded the Kaikyo Distillery to produce world-class Japanese single malts and blends.
Crafted at the Kaikyo Distillery in Akashi, Japan, this whisky is named after the oldest stone lighthouse in the country. The liquid is aged in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and mizunara oak casks to create a multi-dimensional flavor profile.
