Founded in 1873 by German immigrant Adolph Coors, the brewery was established in Golden, Colorado, to take advantage of the pristine mountain spring water. Despite Prohibition and changing market trends, Coors remained a family-controlled legacy, celebrated for its historic stubby bottles and iconic Banquet heritage.
Brewed in Golden, Colorado, at the base of the Rocky Mountains using the same traditional process developed over a century ago. The brewery still prides itself on using 100% Rocky Mountain water to achieve its iconic crisp flavor profile.
